Ulysses isn’t just used by those who write fiction – it is also suited for mathematicians and other scientists that have to include equations in their writing. In this tutorial, we’d like to show you two of the most commonly used workflows: Pandoc to use LaTeX equations in Ulysses and render them as DOCX and PDF, and MathJax, a powerful web-based script which can render your equations in HTML.

LaTeX and Pandoc (for DOCX and PDF)
A well-known way of writing mathematical equations is with LaTeX. This document preparation system uses markup tags, much in the same way as Ulysses does. It has been around since the mid-80’s and hasn’t lost popularity since. Ulysses lets you write in LaTeX just fine, as long as you wrap it in Raw Source tags. These tags will make sure Ulysses doesn’t change your LaTeX code when exporting it. In the screenshot below, the LaTeX equations are enclosed in $ characters, and the indexes in subscript are rendered by placing a _ before them.
Ulysses 2.7 is a writing studio, or a writing environment, rather than a straight word processor. Users write in it like they would Pages or Microsoft Word, but Ulysses is focused equally on. Cost: $5/month or $40/year (or try a 14-day free trial) While it’s ultimately a writing tool, one of the best assets of comprehensive programs like Ulysses or Scrivener are their organizational features. At the end of the day, whether you’re writing a blog post or a full-length novel, the seed of an idea doesn’t get too far. More than that though, Ulysses is an entire environment for writing. To use Ulysses well, you’ll want to dump everything, from your notes to your book manuscript, into Ulysses.
After writing these equations, you can export your sheets as Markdown files. Just press ⌘6 to bring up Quick Export and select the “Text” exporter from the top-left menu. Next, select the “Markdown” format and save your sheet.
Now, you will want to render your formulas. This is where Pandoc comes in. Pandoc is the Swiss-Army knife of file conversion. It can read your Markdown files and convert them to a host of other file types. In order for Pandoc to convert your equations to PDF, please make sure to install MacTeX as well, a LaTeX distribution for Mac. After this is done, enter this command in the Terminal to convert your LaTeX Markdown file into a PDF:
In this example, the file was named Math.md, however, you can choose any name you’d like. When executing this command, Pandoc will create a PDF file for you, automatically rendering the equations:
MathJax (for HTML)
In recent years, MathJax has gained much attention. Since it’s written in JavaScript, it can be rendered by any browser, which makes it perfect for showing your equations within Ulysses' export preview itself. You can write your MathJax formulas in Ulysses just fine: wrap them in Raw Source tags. You will need to place the following snippet in Raw Source Block tags before your actual formula though:
Then write your text and include your formulas in Raw Source tags:
As with LaTeX above, you can use Pandoc to convert your HTML files into almost any other file type.

Have you ever imagined an environment that is not green, full of waste, and unclean? Preserving and protecting our environment is one of the main goals of the government of every country in the world. A country when we can see an environment that is green, waste less and clean is surely a successful country. To have this, these are the ways:• Recycle as many things as you can. Recycling things is the best way to lessen and avoid global warming and climate change.
• Avoid burning garbage to lessen global warming. Learn to sell and recycle things to be practical nowadays.
• Refrain from using air conditioner. Instead use electric fans than aircon. Aircondition has chlorofluorocarbon.
• Plant vegetable on your own backyard. This will help you to prevent using cars to go to the market. This will also help in lessening air pollution.
• Don't throw trashes everywhere. This will help in lessening pollutions in air, water, and land.

• Use hair gels than hairsprays or aerosols. Hair sprays or aerosols have CFC or chlorofluorocarbons.• Plant trees. These also help in lessening the air pollutions. This gives us oxygen that we breathe.
• Turn off unused electric appliances. These will lessen the energy conserve and avoid global warming.
• Avoid using Liquefied Petroleum Gas. Instead use LPG has more chlorofluorocarbon than using charcoal. Charcoal is also much cheaper than LPG.
• Avoid using cars if it is just a short distance trip. It is a bad cause of the global warming and climate change.
• Avoid throwing chemicals in different places. This can cause pollutions like air pollutions, water pollutions and land pollution.
If these were obeyed and observed in each of us. This worst problem will become not that worst at all. These climate change and global warming will be lessened and will not affect us not that worst. Even Millennium Development Goals would be promoted and be achieved. On your own work and deeds ...... Instabro 5 2 3 – browser for instagram. Can you do these?
